Can MonoPan® be bent or shaped?
Yes. MonoPan® can be formed, bent or shaped using heat or mechanical methods described in the MonoPan® product brochure. The strength after shaping does not lessen the strength of MonoPan® if procedures and methods are followed as from the MonoPan product brochure.

How can sections be joined?
Sections can be easily joined by screws, bolts, pop-riveting, gluing and plastic-welding.

What colours are available?
MonoPan® can easily be painted using methods and guidelines described in the MonoPan® product brochure. Bulk orders can be prepared by the factory on special request.

What texture is the surface?
The surface (face-sheet) is made of smooth polypropylene. Non-slip surfaces are also available from the factory on request. Sheets of non-slip materials and other textures can also be applied by using adhesives described in the MonoPan® product brochure.

How strong is MonoPan®?
One of MonoPan's greatest advantages is its strength and comparative light weight to other materials available. For example:

  • 20 mm (approx. ¾") thickness holds a weight of 380kg/m2
  • 30 mm (approx. 1 ⅛") thickness holds a weight of 420kg/m2

What are the thicknesses and sizes?
Standard thicknesses are 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40mm. Other thicknesses are available on request and for sizes, please contact us.
